Tiny Harbor Town

★★★★☆ 4.0 Editor rating

Tiny Harbor Town is a management sim that trades stress for satisfaction. You start with a handful of docks and a few residents, then balance fishing, trade and housing as the town grows. Watching a sleepy hamlet turn into a bustling port over a week of short sessions is genuinely rewarding.

The systems interlock nicely: more fishermen need more boats, more boats need more repairs, and every upgrade nudges the whole economy forward. There's no timer pressure, so you can plan carefully or just tinker. I appreciated that the game never nags you to come back.

It does get a little repetitive in the mid-game before new buildings unlock, which is my main note. Push through that stretch and the late town becomes a satisfying little machine to optimise.
